Zpress

A streamlined e-commerce platform that automates high-quality print and direct mail campaigns for businesses across all industries.

The Need

The market for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to create direct mail and other print marketing materials is often complex, expensive, and inefficient. Existing solutions either lack the robust technology for advanced features like personalization and tracking or fail to offer a simple, all-in-one platform that streamlines the entire process. This leaves many businesses struggling to implement effective and measurable print campaigns.

The goal of Zpress was to solve this problem by leveraging Corefact's printing expertise to create a new brand and e-commerce platform specifically for industries beyond real estate. The objective was to provide an accessible, automated solution that simplifies the process of creating, personalizing, and mailing print materials. Zpress offers a robust editor, pre-designed templates, and advanced features like trackable QR codes, all while ensuring key requirements—like designated mailing areas on postcards—are met through a guided and intuitive user experience.

My Role

My responsibilities were crucial in building the foundational identity and user experience for Zpress. I created the brand style guide and defined the overall look and feel of the website and email templates. I also designed the user interface (UI) for the new design template editor and a streamlined checkout process. A key focus was designing a user experience that guided customers to ensure their designs met all print and mailing regulations, such as including designated mailing areas on postcards, without limiting their creative control. This was all managed alongside my regular design duties for the Corefact brand.
