My role was to design and build the user experience for the Social Share platform, working directly with an engineer to navigate the complexities of social media APIs. I used Adobe XD to create and share initial mockups, including video recordings of the UI functionality, to communicate the user flow and design vision.
A key part of my job was adapting to the frequent changes in social media APIs. I was responsible for designing updated connection flows and creating training materials to ensure our customer service team and users could seamlessly adapt to new requirements, maintaining the platform's reliability and usability.
Problem: Real estate agents struggle to maintain a consistent, long-term social media presence due to time constraints and the complexity of creating effective content.
Solution: An automated platform that provides a library of branded, pre-written social media posts, a content calendar, and campaign management tools.
Goal: Enable agents to effortlessly build a powerful brand and connect with clients through a simplified and automated marketing process.
The success of Social Share isn't just in the code; it’s in the conversion. By streamlining the onboarding process and simplifying the connection to complex social APIs, we lowered the barrier to entry for real estate agents.
The data from our billing logs (Jan 2022 – Feb 2026) reflects this impact: The platform has processed over 5,500 transactions, resulting in more than $331,000 in total revenue. Notably, the design's focus on long-term marketing strategy led to a significant shift toward annual commitments, with annual subscriptions accounting for $245,462 of total revenue. These figures validate that the intuitive user experience and reliable automation successfully met the needs of busy real estate professionals.
