Democratize access to college resources and empower students to confidently and successfully pave their path to higher education.

The path to higher education is often overwhelming for students. The process is fragmented, with information scattered across numerous websites, and many students lack the guidance needed to navigate college applications, scholarships, and career planning. This creates a significant barrier to success, particularly for students who don't have access to professional counseling.
The goal of Plexuss was to solve this problem by creating an all-in-one platform—an "Opportunity Network"—that centralizes every aspect of the college journey. Instead of sifting through countless resources, students can use Plexuss to connect with peers, alumni, and professional college counselors, find scholarships, get homework help, and explore detailed profiles of over 18,000 schools. The platform's integrated timeline provides a clear roadmap, guiding students through each milestone of their academic journey.
I guided projects from concept to launch, creating wireframes and prototypes and collaborating daily with the engineering, sales, and executive teams. My design process included usability testing and QA to ensure a high-quality user experience before final handoff to engineers.
- Co-created the logo and style guide with the design lead
- Rapidly wireframed and protoyped designs for daily review and iteration with engineering, sales, and the CEO
- Conducted user and usability testing
- Recorded and managed all documentation
- Assigned projects to engineering team
- Designed for both the web platform and mobile app
- Reviewed applications, and conducted interviews for hiring QA and design team members
- Reviewed site to meet accessibility requirements

I managed the design lifecycle from initial prototyping and wireframing to final handoff. My work involved close, daily collaboration with engineering and sales, with a focus on usability testing and QA to deliver a refined product.
